I’m Elizabeth Pawle, an indie dyer and knitter creating small batch limited edition yarns for sock knitters.

Before turning to yarn dyeing, I worked as a magazine journalist specialising in style and interiors, a role that immersed me in colour and pattern and sparked a lifelong love of colour.

Moving into dyeing allowed me to bring together my two great passions: knitting and colour.

Today I spend my time in my workshop experimenting with yarn and dye, adding splashes and speckles to create colourways that knit up into beautiful distinctive socks.

I live near the Suffolk coast in England with my family. Outside of work, I love cooking, walking our golden retriever Pippin and travelling in Scandinavia.
