Scatterings hand embroidered wall hanging

Tapestry wall hanging hand embroidered in wool, cotton, silk and acrylic yarns and threads onto natural hessian (burlap)

This piece has been freeform stitched from a unique and carefully-curated colour palette of neons, pastels and brights. Each stitch has been placed deliberately to allow a different meditative journey to be taken around the canvas each time it is observed

A hardwood batten has been sewn to the reverse for easy hanging. Hessian is a natural material and small imperfections in the canvas are to be expected. The edges are lightly sealed but, as with all art, please handle your tapestry carefully and keep it out of the reach of children

I finish my ends with knots. The reverse has been left uncovered to show the knots and workings of the piece as an antidote to the dominance of mass-produced items in our lives

It will be carefully rolled inside a strong cardboard tube or box and shipped using an international tracked and insured delivery service
