I recently had to fill in a set of forms that asked me to think quite carefully about the character of someone close to me: their strengths and challenges, the things they love and don’t love, who they are and how they fit into the world and all the other small things that make them who they are.
It was a LOT. But something that started out as admin ended up being actually very reflective. It made me think about how different we all are and what an amazing thing that is.
The next day, I went to my studio and dyed this yarn. I chose a base of pale pinks and blues then threw in speckles of my favourite colours: gold, bright red, cobalt, neon yellow. An unexpected combination, really, but then aren’t we all just made up of unexpected combinations of favourite things?
I’ve named it Soul. It’s a celebration of all that is different and wonderful in each of us. Each skein is completely unique and I hope that when you knit it into socks, you’ll wear them as a reminder of all that is special in you too.
75% superwash merino, 25% nylon

Your yarn will be wrapped in tissue paper and carefully shipped in a postage bag or box.
US customers: orders are shipped via Royal Mail with ‘delivered duty paid’ and should be delivered with no further tariffs or handling charges to pay
EU customers: due to GPSR regulations I’m currently unable to ship to the EU or Northern Ireland
